The most significant novelty of the 16RCS Corsa Corsa is that it offers the rider the possibility to adapt the position of the braking attack point to their driving preferences, using an easily accessible selector, located on the upper part of the pump.
The selector by means of a cam mechanism, allows the user to choose between three different response configurations:
- With Normal configuration, identified on the pump with the letter N, the position of the attack point guarantees a more gradual initial phase and, therefore, suitable for driving in the city or for clutching in poor grip conditions.
- In Sport configuration, identified with the letter S, the beginning of the attack point is shorter than in the N configuration. This configuration offers a more dynamic response, suitable for sportier driving.
- Finally, in the Race configuration, identified on the pump with the letter R, the position of the cam mechanism allows the initial phase of the attack point to be further reduced, to produce an immediate response, just like in the brake master cylinder of MotoGP. In this way, the pilot can obtain the point of attack of the braking immediately. This configuration is ideal for driving with a stron racing feel, where scratching hundredths of seconds when clutching is important
